Students studying Travel and Tourism at Bridgwater & Taunton College’s Taunton Centre were recently given the opportunity to visit the Birmingham Frankfurt Christmas Market.

As a College we pride ourselves on providing a unique vocational learning experience where students have the opportunity to learn outside of the classroom. The educational visit, not only provided an excellent opportunity for students to visit a popular UK tourist destination and indeed, attraction, Birmingham Christmas Market, but it also had academic value in terms of units taught on the course.

Our students leave their Travel and Tourism courses with the skills, knowledge and experience needed to function in this dynamic and vibrant industry. Luis Lucas studying Level 3 Extended Diploma in Travel and Tourism said,

“I’ve never been to Birmingham before and this trip provided me with an opportunity to explore what Birmingham City Centre has to offer.”
