In order to access all the competitive opportunities, the Esports Academy is registered with the British Esports Association, and the BTC team was the winners of the 2019/20 winter season British Esports Championship.
Each competitive game played by the BTC Esports Academy is co-ordinated by experienced staff and students, with a focus on improving player communication and ability in the game. Students play a range of games including League of Legends, Overwatch and Rocket League. They also run other games internally within the spin off gaming club, including Super Smash Bros and Valorant. BTC students have the resources to play in a competitive environment against some of the best teams in the United Kingdom.
All the British eSports games are cast and streamed, and students launched a Twitch channel to allow others to watch their competitive events.
If you’re planning on studying at BTC, please complete the expression of interest form below to let us know you’d like to join the Academy once you enrol.
