With a strong a track record of quality and innovation in responding quickly and effectively to industry demand, and its strong stakeholder partnerships, over the years, BTC has attracted substantial private investment in state-of-the-art, industry-led facilities for technical and professional skills training. Using this ability, the College has secured funding for a new Welding Centre of Excellence (WCoE) based at the Bridgwater Campus.
Working in collaboration with Weldability Sif, South West Institute of Technology (SWIOT), Hinkley Point C (HPC) and Heart of the South West LEP (HotSW LEP), we aim to address the regional skills shortages in welding and associated skills. The WCoE will provide skills and associated training from Level 1 to Level 6.
It's critical that employers provide us with insights so that we can create learning provision tailored to industry needs and skill gaps. Send us an enquiry so we can find a solution for you.
