Supporting the development of Construction Live!, CITB and their Experiential Learning Commissioned Fund have been pivotal in its success. The funding is being used to further develop the capacity, experience and geographical reach of Construction Live!, including:

• Further investment in facilities, project management expertise and welfare.
• The development of a wider range of immersive, technology-based modular projects.
• Close collaboration with employers to create clear links between Construction Live! activities with construction career pathways.
• Changing perceptions within schools, by promoting trade and technical pathways in construction as a career of choice.

BTC’s bid to CITB was supported by three of the UK’s largest infrastructure contractors and developers (Balfour Beatty, Kier, and Bylor – the Bouygues/Laing O’Rourke joint venture), who recognise the value and unique opportunities that Construction Live! can deliver in inspiring and motivating new talent to complete their studies and move into higher level construction sector career pathways.
