Opening Times
Cannington Golf Club is open daily from 8.30am.
The driving range is open daily:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday: 9am – 9pm. Thursday 10am to 9pm
Saturday and Sunday 9.30am to 9pm.

Electric Trolley Rental
Visitors and members can now hire electric trolleys.

Membership
The Golf Club has over 400 members, with an active golf program of matches, competitions and friendly games. Members compete in the Three Counties League as well as County Tournaments, the Junior Golfers in the Somerset Junior Golf League, with some junior members progressing to County Junior Teams.
The Senior Golfers meet every Tuesday and have a fixture list of over twenty matches against clubs in Somerset, while our Ladies Section meet every Thursday morning and welcomes new players.
Throughout the year the club hosts a variety of events, including:
- Monthly medals
- Junior and Senior competitions
- Men’s, ladies’ and mixed competitions
- Open competitions
- School holiday ‘Golf Camp’
- Corporate days and society visits (by arrangement)
Membership annual renewal date is 1 April, although we offer a ‘rolling membership’, where membership fees are pro-rata depending on when you join the club.
Full members are exempt from additional green fees for the term of their membership.

Club repairs
Despite being made of steel, the loft and lie angles of your irons and wedges will move over time. It is good practice to have these checked every 12-18 months.
- Loft/lie measurement/adjustment, £2 per club
- Shaft extraction, £15
- Shaft replacement, from £30 (dependant on specification – steel or graphite)
- Re-gripping, from £10 per club (includes fitting)
- Club lengthening, £10 per club
