Car Parking

Please note, that as we are located in a small village, car parking is limited to 5 spaces. However we do have an overflow car park a short walk away (approx. 7mins) at Bridgwater & Taunton College’s Animal Management Centre. The overflow car park is located on Rodway (the road leading uphill from the war memorial).

Directions

The Walled Gardens of Cannington are situated on Church Street in the centre of the Somerset village of Cannington. It is just four miles from the historic town of Bridgwater and only 12 miles from Taunton.

From Bridgwater direction: Take the A39 to Cannington (go straight over the first roundabout signposted Cannington – do not take the first left towards Minehead). Once in the village, the Gardens are the first left after the war memorial in the centre of the village and left again, following the brown tourist signs.

From Minehead direction: Take the A39 towards Bridgwater. Take the turning for Cannington, and pass the convenience store. The Gardens are then the first right hand turning before the war memorial in the centre of the village, and then first left, following the brown tourist signs.

There is one bus service which go to Cannington from both Bridgwater and Minehead. The First bus service, number 14, which stops by Cannington’s Post Office. For the timetable, please click here.
